Initial Site Selection

DGE Finland offers initial property site selection services for projects of all sizes. The site selection process includes an environmental assessment of the potential sites and available documentation on the sites, such as wildlife and habitat assessments, and analysis of any existing contamination or environmental liabilities as well as local zoning and land use regulations, and any potential impact on local ecosystems. The purpose of service is to find the best location from possible options for developments or expansions.

We provide analysis for initial location selection. Our analysis is suitable for enterprises and developments with significant environmental impact, such as industrial and infrastructure objects, as well as large real estate developments. For these it is advisable to carry out an initial site selection, before spending significant amounts of resources and money on planning and impact assessment processes.

Our analysis does not cover institutional and social factors. Public discussions and onsite surveys are not a part of the service.
